Chemonics International, a Washington, DC based company, seeks Bangladeshi technical specialists for an anticipated USAID-funded project working in agricultural value chains, food security, and rural economic growth. Experts are sought in the following areas:

• Developing SME capacity
• Developing value chains and sector linkages
• Improving production of agricultural and horticultural commodities
• Linking agriculture production to household consumption
• Strengthening associations
• Developing marketing information systems
• Community outreach
• Monitoring and evaluation
• Developing training materials
• Household nutrition

Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in a relevant area
• Significant technical experience, particularly in enterprise and sector development
• Experience working with international donor-funded projects. Recent experience working on USAID-funded agricultural development, nutrition, and/or food security programs preferred
• Experience working in the southern regions of Bangladesh preferred
• Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity
• Proficiency in English required, with excellent written and oral communication skills
